In my world, rejection is a good thing! Well...most of the time.
probably just a glitch, unless one of the fan died or something
Nope...need a new motherboard says the computer person at school. Something about 3 'gidgets' burnt and 7 'gadgets' bulging??
It sounds less bad than the "Blue screen of Death." I get that quite regularly.
bulging capacitors?i had like 12 of those on one board. it was a miracle the thing even worked for three years before it died.
Better than the blue screen of death!
Forget everything about overheating vents being blocked, replacing CPU Fans, etc. It is the Motherboard that needs replacing, nothing else!Dell are very much aware of this problem; it is a design fault caused by using the cheapest parts they could find. Particularly in GX270's, a particularly cheap and nasty bit of kit!Rather than spend millions re-calling all the PC's, they decided to do nothing! Instead they waited in hope until the PC's went wrong and that they were out of their warranty period!
